Funding doula support during pregnancy and while preparing for a baby can indeed be a source of stress for many expecting parents. Doulas provide valuable emotional, informational, and physical support throughout the childbirth journey, and it's important to find ways to make this support accessible without causing additional financial strain. I believe that having a doula is a right; nobody should be without a doula because they cannot afford one. In honor of this, I offer different funding choices!

What We
Offer

01

Health Savings/Flexible Spending Accounts

If you have an HSA or FSA, you may be able to use funds from these accounts to cover doula expenses. Be sure to verify with your account provider about the eligibility of doula services.

03

Sliding Scale Fees

I operate on a sliding scale fee structure, which takes into consideration your income and financial situation to determine a more affordable rate.

Sliding scale starts at $300 and maximizes out at $1,300

05

Crowdfunding/Fundraising

Online crowdfunding platforms or local fundraising events can help you gather financial support from friends, family, and community members who understand the importance of doula care.

02

Payment Plans

Offering flexible payment plans to help ease the financial burden. This could involve spreading out the cost of services over several months, making it more manageable.

04

Bartering/Trade

If you have a skill or service that I could benefit from, you might consider proposing a bartering arrangement. For example, if you're a graphic designer, you could offer design services in exchange for doula support.

06

Community Resource

I offer free or low-cost doula services to those in need. No one should be turned away from support due to lack of funds/goods.
